2008-08-27 Boat Repair - 1977 Johnson v4 115 horse: could be too much piston to cylinder wall clearance.....worn out...might need to be rebuilt....even with good compression...have to have correct clearance for it to suck the fuel thru the carbs efenciently...

2008-08-03 Boat Repair - Merc 150 Oil/Temp Alarm: it sounds like the oil pump is failing....run premixed fuel until you find the problem....if you take the oil pump off the engine there is a coupling there...it should turn when you turn the motor over...
