you with equipment, planning a trip and things to do before you leave home

| I can answer questions about teaching children, and progressional tactics with all ages. I can answer questions about the physics of skiing, turning phases, and the mindgame(s) involved in downhill freeride skiing. I also know what type of equipment you'll want to start out with if you're new to the ski industry. I can give a pretty specific answer on any other ski-general topics, including some info on downhill race and slalom. I will even admit if I don't know about something and try to you set in the correct path. | Available Ask A Question |

| I'll speak to equipment concerns, barriers to advancement, beginner, intermediate, and advanced turn shaping skills. I love working with Moguls, Gates, Powder... I'll talk about Ice, but I won't like it;). I can help with equipment and tuning issues, as well as technique.
I can only help with skis I've tried, and I am a firm believer that you buy a boot fitter, not a boot. Hope I can help! | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

2008-06-09 Sintered base waxing.: Hi Nick, If the skis are new, and have no oxidation (white haze) on the bases, they'll need no prep work before waxing. If they have a haze, you can scotch-brite them first, but you'll end up creating...
