I can answer questions about classic-era and modern American comic strips, and have a good store of knowledge about animation and animated cartoons of the past. I know a bit about some American and European comic books (Humor only.) I can help with questions about traditional media and some computer methods of drawing and animating. And I can recommend some excellent and useful books! I can't give any idea of the monetary value of original artwork/animation cels, etc.Available

I carve wood to create any image. Lately, my commissions consist largely of replicating a person or animal in wood as a walking stick or bottle stop. My creations do seem to match the photo I am given to reproduce very well. I can answer your questions regarding drawing and wood carving. I do not use chain saws in wood sculptures and cannot answer questions petaining to that.Available

Can answer questions about American (and some European and Asian) comic strips, cartoonists, and comic books. Also well-versed on topics related to cartooning techniques, composition, and art supplies. I don't consider myself an expert on animation, or on the collectibles market (i.e., how much old comic books or cartoon artwork are worth). If asked, I'll try to answer questions in these areas, but you can probably get equally good answers from Wikipedia or Google.Available
