I have been ardently collecting music of all genres (except classical and heavy metal) for the past 25 years, in both vinyl and CD formats. I have a detailed knowledge of landmark UK indie labels such as Factory, 4AD, Disques du Crepuscule, etc. (and their respective releases by such bands as Joy Division, The Fall, and The Wolfgang Press), as well as pop acts such as Prince, The Police, and the Rolling Stones. | The 80s: a decade where the music was grand. i learned a great deal on the wonderworkings of new wave artists; those pop-rock ditties were remarkable, yet the laid-back love songs were always as good as it was then. as regards artists and their songs,i maybe of help though i'm partial to rap,country,and metal.
