| I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| I am able to answer nearly all questions about classical ballet technique, terminology, choreography, staging, history, education, costuming, pointe shoes, ballet slippers, etc. I enjoy answering questions, and can also answer most questions about other types of dance technique,(especially modern and jazz) or other things regarding dance in general. I won't answer questions better left to a medical professional. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| I can answer questions about ballet technique, training, pointe shoes, mens training, diet, general health issues related to dance, artistry, performance, modern dance, rehabilitation from injuries, and teaching ballet. I have taught ballet, choreographed, been ballet mistress, and director, with dance companies. For any answers related to health questions will offer my experience, but will also automatically include "see a professional". | On Vacation returns 07/07/2008 View Past Answers |

| I can answer questions in French as well as English. I can answer general questions about classical and neo-classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance, as well as most hybrids and folk dances from Canada, Europe, the Mediterranean, and Mongolia. I am familiar with almost all terms and methods, though I have only touched upon Vaganova briefly. Questions on training (where/when/with whom to train), injuries, the dance industry, and choreography for children, teens, opera, amateurs and semi-professionals are my specialty.
I may also serve you in French, ballet's official language. | On Vacation returns 07/07/2008 |
