| I can answer basic questions about using any camera, but I am very familiar with most of
the Nikon FILM cameras up to the FP 5. I have some background in advertising and
marketing so I know something about placement of the object or person that would be
the main focus of the photo. I did quite a bit of in home family portrature when I had my
own studio in the '80s and '90s. I also did some product and commercial photography. I
took most of the marketing photos for my families hotels in The Bahamas over the last 20
years so I have some experience about what 'sells' in the travel/hospitality industry. | Available Ask A Question |

I do not make recommendations about brands or models, and I am not a camera technician so I may not be able to tell you what is wrong with your equipment if it`s not working .
I also know a little about digital photography and imaging with scanners and digital cameras, so ask me and I will answer if I can. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| I can answer questions questions relating to SLRs (35mm or DSLRs) and general photographic technique. I have a good knowledge and understanding of the principles involved in photography (film or digital) and photographic lighting. Questions about studio lighting, studio flashes, and flashguns are also welcome. Questions about theory (e.g. colour theory, the rules and guidelines behind composition etc.) are welcome as well.
Digital photography also involves some amount of post-processing using an image editing application such as Adobe Photoshop; a program that I am proficient with.
I cannot answer typical generic questions, viz. "Which is the best camera?," as the short and sweet answer to questions such as those is "There is no such thing." Furthermore, there is a lot of literature available on the web pertaining to those sorts of questions. Please be as specific as you can with your questions. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |
