| I`m the author of Mormons on the Internet, a best-selling book on Mormonism. As a serious Latter-day Saint, I am well equipped to answer questions related to * Doctrine (What is a prophet? Are Mormons Christian? Why do Mormons do genealogy?), * LDS Cultural and Practice (How should I dress for a Mormon service? How do I find out about Mormonism? Why do Mormons have so many kids?) * History (What is a temple? Where did the Book of Mormon come from? What is the Hill Cummorah? What is the reason Mormons practiced polygamy?). | Available Ask A Question |

| I can answer questions concerning standard doctrines, scriptures, curiousities, Mormon culture and society. I will not respond to debates. I'm sorry, but there are some things that I simply will not answer, not because I don't want to, but there are some things that the LDS people do not discuss casually--it's only talked about within the temple. Though I am a member, I do not believe that anyone could convert anyone to a religion over something as impersonal as the internet. So I won't even try to. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| Please state your experience or current knowledge of the LDS faith so that I can better answer your question. I served a two-year LDS mission in the Dominican Republic. I have been a member of the LDS Church my entire life. I was married for eternity (sealed) to my beautiful wife just this year. I don't know all the answers, but any that require my perspective, I would be glad to try or help find the answer. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| I cannot answer whether or not to divorce someone. I cannot tell you explicitly what to do in any said situation (each person has their own free agency to make their own choice, I only advise). I cannot replace a visit to the bishop. I will look at the situation as unbiasly as possible. I can answer word of wisdom, scripture reference, clergy, organizational, social aspects, easter versus christmas, and semi-taboo subjects (eg. birth control). | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |

| For a different viewpoint on Mormonism for your questions, try me. I am a staunch believer in the Book of Mormon and belong to another church (the Church of Christ)that is set up identically to the Biblical church. If there are things about traditional Mormonism that trouble you or you have questions about, just ask and you might find the answers from the Book of Mormon to be quite surprising. I have been studying the scriptures diligently for 16 years under the school of hard knocks... I may not have all of the answers but will sure go find them if I don`t. I`m strongest on Biblical and Book of Mormon doctrines, and am also somewhat familiar with Mormon history and archaeology. | Available Ask A Question View Past Answers |
