I am a family doctor who has provided abortion care for over a decade. I can answer any health or medical related questions about early abortion, including the aspiration procedure, the abortion pill (RU486), or surgical abortion. I run a practice called Early Options, located in New York City: earlyabortionoptions.com. The practice is dedicated to making early abortion part of mainstream medical care. There are other family doctors around the United States who practice a similar approach to early abortion care: see earlyabortion.com. Please do not ask "private" questions so that other women can learn from your experience. Please tell me what country you are from so that I can better help you.

Hi, Cidne, At nine weeks, you won't be feeling any movement yet, not from the baby. You might be feeling gas in your intestines or something like that. But by now, you should feel more than just a little

2009-11-19 Health Issues after abortion:

Hello, dania, Thank you for the kind wishes. You haven't said what kind of abortion you had. I need to know that to tell you some of the things you need to know. You really should have a doctor

2009-11-19 abortion:

Dear Shannon, The best thing to do in this situation would be to check a urine pregnancy test. You can get one at your local pharmacy. If it turns positive, you should see a doctor. If it is negative

2009-11-19 confused:

Hello, Elle, You are so far along that it would be VERY dangerous to have an abortion. And it is very unlikely you'd keep your boyfriend if you did have an abortion. Clearly, you don't want one.
