Gord, Need to know what year distributor you have. It is either a Prestolite or Motorcraft. Pull the distributor cap and see if you can tell which one it is. Also, tell me more about the control module
Remove the fuel lines from the pump, remove the vacuum lines from the pump, remove the bolts then pull the pump away from the timing cover. Install in the reverse order making sure the arm of the pump
You're in luck. Numerous components will interchange. Front suspension & steering; brakes & brake components; everything in the engine compartment; Electrical components. i.e switches, steering column
You say you have power going into the coil; you should have 9-12V on the (+) side of the coil when the key is on. The ignition contact points, as they open and close cause the spark to come out of the
