Please note that my expertise does *not* cover the value of Beatles memorabilia, except by using Google ... which I think you can do yourself. ;o) I was born in England at the same time as the Beatles and, as a musician, I `grew up` musically with their ideas. In 1962, I asked a friend, who ran a local record store, how many of the first Beatles album she had ordered. "Two", she said. "Order twelve", I advised her, "you`ll need `em!". So I feel able to answer most kinds of questions on the Fab Four and, if need be, I`ll happily search for the information on the Net, which I`m very experienced at using.

I`m an italian Beatle fan who`s been studying, playing, reading The Beatles for more than twentyfive years. I can answer about recording sessions, lyrics, biography, instruments and more. I`ve been playng bass guitar and their music for years and know pretty much about their music and composition. I own a double complete discography (on vinil and on cd) and lots of books about them. I regret not to be so expert about their films and personal careers, but I think I can answer nearly any question about their life and music in the period 1940 - 1970.

eBay is actually a great place to sell them and ensure you get what they are worth. Collectors scour eBay ensuring a broad market of demand. Try a search on eBay for completed listings to get a general
Hi, Roger, I really know nothing about hip pocket records, and I don't even remember them from the 60s. As for versions of "Hey Jude", I've done a Google search for you which may help you move forward
Hi Gene, from a quick calculation, I think John wrote more lyrics. There was in the sixties a tradition of the musician's name appearing before the lyricist but this didn't apply to Lennon and McCartney
