Go to a lawyer for the answer to this one. Be sure to charge enough to compensate you for your expertise. Obtain the necessary permissions from the recognizable people in the pictures to protect yourself

It does seem to be rather high-priced but a lot would depend on how they print the pages of the books and the finished appearance of the books. Bear in mind that you would have to charge quite a bit more
