 Have traveled in Chile and visited areas around Santiago, taken a flight and also have taken the train to Puerto Montt (train does not run now). Visited Torres de Paine and have done the crossing of the lakes to Bariloche in Argentina. Also have traveled by car to Chiloe and areas north of Puerto Montt. Last time visited in 2007.

 I'm an American who has been living in Chile since 2007. I have gone through the process of renewing my tourist visa to stay longer than 90 days, obtained a work visa, opened a bank account (not so easy here), transferred money from the USA and started a business in Chile.
