I can give concise answers on growing plants in containers instead of the ground, why and how to plant them and how to maintain them. |
....try cutting it back an inch, this may stimulate new and stronger growth; once it has set a crown of 4-6 leaves, you can transfer it to a small container. Try "Papaya", dry the seeds for several days
Julia, I am going to change my advice slightly here, for I just realized that we are dealing with a much smaller fig, I would build a wire enclosure around it, (wire hangers will do..)wrap it with black
Hi Julia, leave it on the balcony, after all the leaves have been shed, wrap the container with a heavy blanket,(before first frost or freeze) so the soil doesn't freeze, and block the crown with some
Hi Sandra, you may have potted it up too soon, but without more info, like how long it grew in water before the transition to soil, and if you changed the water daily etc. it is hard for me to determine
