I don't object to Witness theology, but rather their use of social pressure & deceptive manipulations to undermine family ties and control minds. (This may seem contradictory to Witnesses, who draw no distinction between spiritual belief and organizational policy.) I do not engage in theological debate. I support persons impacted by an experience with the Witnesses and advocate early education for everyone so that they can protect themselves from cults by understanding what to watch out for. Time does not heal this wound until you first remove the splinter, which takes more time and effort than you may realize. So, unless you have already put in that time and effort, don't be surprised if you are deeply affected long after the experience. But there is good news! You're NOT an enemy of God for doubting or for failing to meet the requirements of a human organization. An organization that lies cannot be the exclusive spokesman for the God of Truth. Tell me where you're at. I'll understand. I can show you how to begin or continue your .....

I am familiar with Watchtower doctrine and I am happy to look at how this doctrine lines up with the Bible. I am not into taking out one verse here and there but I believe that all Scripture must be interpreted in context. Some may say for example that the trinity is pagan in origin and that it was made up in the 4th century. (There is simply no evidence for this.) The Bible clearly reveals that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are 100% God. Phil 1:2, John 1:1, 14, Col 2:9, Acts 5:3-4.

I will not, however, argue with anyone aboout their teachings and whether or not they are the "true" relgion. I remain an unbiased observer. I neither agree nor disagree with their teachings and lifestyle, but will gladly inform you about the things I have learned in my time associated with them.

Dear Dany,    I don't doubt that some things have changed a little since I left 14 years ago. But my sources suggest that the changes are only superficial. Leopards don't really change their spots, I don't

Dear Dany,    Thanks for making your comment public so that others can benefit from your experience.     Yes, generally Witnesses believe what they preach. The act of preaching is part of the mechanism
