You should check with your vet - he/she can determine if he/she can undergo surgery at this age and with his health status. I will say that at his age, it is not likely to get rid of the problem all together

Classic signs of being in heat. Keep her away from male dogs. You should get her spayed as soon as possible. Look into a low cost spay clinic or check with the local SPCA and they may know of where
