I recently completed a graduate degree in English/Professional Writing at the University of New Mexico where I taught freshman and sophomore English courses. I was one of a small group of teachers who taught completely online. Here's what I can do: I can help educators find the perfect digital match for their classroom--whether their school offers an online course supplement such as WebCT (used at UNM) or not. I can give you advice on using the software and online resources available today to improve your classroom experience. My expertise is not technical: I can not answer technical questions about specific software programs. I can't help you write a paper on what digital education is. If you are a teacher and you want ideas, please write! If you are a student looking for better online resources or tips on using technology more proficiently, I'll do my best to help. What I can do is help you find creative ways to use the programs available online to create a stronger class community, improve writing skills, and encourage participation. |
