Got it. The answer is no. The reason most toilet paper dissolves, or appears to is because of its porosity and thinness. When one soaks it in water, it appears to dissolve, but it's really just breaking

Jack: Depending upon the severity of the fire, it would have caused the fuel to boil off and vent harmlessly, but that's an unlikely explanation because most gas tanks are designed to hold a small pressure
Offhand I would guess that you had an angel on your shoulder looking out for you. But there is another possibility. The heat may have driven out the fuel around the cap, or a crack in the pipeline. There
