I can answer any question that deals with geopolitics, political stability and the role of big powers in the Middle East. My strongest background deals with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but I have a good knowledge of the region going from the Caucasus to Egypt, the Arabic Peninsula and Central Asia. Even if your question does not directly deal with this, I will try to answer it anyway.

I`m originally from the United States, and now make my home in Israel - after living for some years in Hong Kong and England. In addition to handling general questions about Israeli life and history, I can field questions relating to strategic aspects of terrorism and counter-terrorism, as well as some tactical aspects. As an Associate of the International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT), I can draw on ICT`s accumulated expertise in this area. As the Lead Researcher for ICT`s "al-Aqsa Intifada" Database Project (and author of "An Engineered Tragedy", ICT`s report on the findings of this project), I have become the world`s leading expert (indeed, as far as I know, the world`s only expert) on the demographics of the victims of the phase of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that began in September 2000. Going beyond terrorism per se, I can answer questions regarding pretty much all aspects of the Israeli-Arab conflict.

I am an expert in Middle Eastern history, and Israeli history in particular. My main focus is Biblical analysis, the origins of Islam, and medieval and modern historical events in Israel. Everything you see happening in the world today, has a history.

I can answer all kinds of questions about Israeli soldier, policeman, and settler abuse(s) of the occupied Palestinian people, including terrorism against civilians and their property, and other violations of international law. In fact I have a book written and published on the subject. My expertise is very high for incidents that have occurred during the past seven years. I can discuss demolitions of Palestinian civilians' homes for strictly administrative reasons, controlled completely by the Israelis, destruction of Palestinian crops, separation of Palestinians from their farms by the "security" wall, and all kinds of confrontation incidents in which Palestinians are harmed, kidnapped, or killed, or tortured. I might be helpful in other questions about Israel in areas such as politics, or specific issues of concern to most Israelis. For example, it is clear to me that at this time, most Israelis fear nuclear buildup in Iran, and there is often talk among Israelis about using a preemptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities. I can discuss to some extent Israeli medical advances, possibly fashions. Mainly, my area of attention is and has been the Israeli occupation of the Palestinians. |
First of all, this is an insulting question. Second of all, your "game theory" question could better be answered by a mathematician. The US is a strong ally with some countries around the world, and
Hi Valeria, First of all, it depends what you mean by "failed nations", whether or not it refers to the expression "failed state" (which is obviously not the same). A state is a political organization
Dear Valeria - Failed states present a number of problems to the United States and other developed nations. They are often (although not always) breeding grounds for terrorism. They are also frequently
Hi Patrick, Actually, that doesn't happen very often in most western countries. There are some exceptions though, like Ireland for example where it does happen often. There's really no special name
Hi Dustin, If Iraq splits into three independent states, each part will very probabely gain every political aspects of modern states nowadays. This includes: military, economic, judiciary, social, etc
