I have been working with (and driving) a first generation Mitsubishi Eclipse for several years. Anything that could go wrong with an Eclipse has probably happened on mine. Fortunately, I have gained a lot of knowledge from experience in repairing these problems myself. |
Allan, Sorry for the late reply. If the fuel pump is damaged, you can get a sudden and sharp loss of power. Lack of fuel supply to the combustion chambers will not allow the pistons to turn or not make
Fiona, Sorry for the late reply. You should have the computer checked out. Once the engine reaches normal operation temperature, the computer starts taking over to regulate ignition timing, air/fuel
Joey, Most squeaks are caused by a loose or worn drive belt. Your car probably has 3 drive belts; power steering, alternator, and A/C. If any of those belts are loose or if the pulleys they ride on
