I take the occult at its meaning of "hidden knowledge", that which is not brought into the mainstream and accepted as conventional wisdom. The occult is a science-like study of what cannot be measured through mundane means, whereas conventional science deals in measurable things. Some people may call this paranormal. My expertise is in vampires (the legend and the reality), death, dying, and after death experiences, magic, extra-sensory perception, astrology, spiritualism, numerology, lucid dreaming, Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Luciferianism, Thelema, and Neopaganism. At the moment I am focusing on the Book of the Law by A. Crowley to draw some parallels between contemporary events and his Aeon of Horus.
