Diana, I would think you would not be in the hospital for more then two days, three at tops providing there is no complications of course. it sounds like a procedure that can be done rather quickly
Hi Steve, These can be difficult fracture when it comes to the healing process due to the weight bearing through the ankle and it is not unusual for them to bother patients for extended periods of time
Aaron, I would strongly suggest you start taking them as soon as possible. if you wait until the pain arrives generally it may be too late! Take them as soon as you can. Regards Richard Haynes
Hi Mark, There could a couple of reasons, 1.More arthritic damage inside then the X-rays showed therefore, the surgeon may have felt that the three screws would do a better job in your case in securing
Hi Aaron, I do not feel from what you are telling me that you should have serious problems with this as you age. The grinding noise is not unusual when it comes to joints only if it does get painful
