Hello Paul, I would try splitting up the original hens- which ones are more aggressive? Take these ones away, then try to re-introduce the RIRs. If this works, then introduce the original ones again
Hello Wendy, I give my hens ground up eggshell and grit too- they do eat the grit, just not very often. This will help to strengthen the eggs, yes. Also the red spots are nothing to worry about :)
