Been a wrestling fan most of my life... especially knowledgable on the true legends of wrestling... Gordon Solie-NWA era, especially... Still remember when Roddy Piper was "just an announcer," if that tells you anything... Mr. Wrestling II, The Spoiler, Pak Song, Magnum TA, Dory Funk, Jr., I saw them all... and have seen pretty much everything since... If the name "Lance Russell" means anything to you, give me a shot... | |

***Disclaimer: Although I will do my best to answer questions, I will no longer be answering questions regarding pro wrestling schools, or getting into wrestling. This is basically due to the number of questions I get on these topics. Feel free to check out previous answers on these topics, or you can ask another Exert on the site. Thank you*** Hi everyone. I am a 34 year old long time pro wrestling fan from the great state of Minnesota, home of the old American Wrestling Association (AWA). I've been a pro wrestling fan for as long as I can remember, with my earliest memories being of the AWA, beginning in the early 1980's. Before the WWE (WWF at the time) went national in the mid 1980's, the AWA was one of the top promotions in the country, and was where several future WWF stars made their names prior to joining the WWF, including the likes of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Jesse Ventura, Curt Hennig, Marty Jannetty, Scott Hall, Mean Gene Okerlund, Bobby Heenan, and many more. At the time, the AWA was the only promtion I received on TV, but that soon changed to the WWF, NWA (later WCW), and ..... |
Hi Adam, WWE is scripted. The storylines are all written out, attacks on people, what is said on TV, everything, is all planned. Now, the action is pretty real. The guys/girls go to wrestling school
Hi Devan. Thanks for the question. Savage should have been inducted years ago, but the fact is Vince McMahon had a personal grudge against him, and up until the past couple of years, didn't want anything
Well of course you could be a wrestler. Never matters where you're from. In fact, as far as Iran goes, the Iron Sheik was from there. He is a WWE Hall of Famer. So obviously Iran has had hits in the past
Duane... I can't guarantee you anything about getting near a wrestler long enough to interview them... that is going to take a lot of confidence and work, to convince a pro athlete to agree to an interview
Well, there are quite a number of good schools in Ontario. If you live there, IDK why you'd wanna go to Ottawa anyway. There really is no good school in Ottawa. There are supposedly some Indy places
