Expertise

General inquiries from concerned individuals that a child may on the spectrum. What EARLY SIGNS to watch for in a baby/toddler. Why early detection is so important, and suggestions of what resources to utilize if there is a concern. Help navigating the confusing systems/resources available. I cannot and will not provide medical information, diagnosis, or anything close to that nature. I am not a medical professional, just someone with personal exposure to the experiences.

Experience in the area

As a mother of 3, my last child (daughter) displayed every possible "early detection" red flag. Many may have thought "she will just grow out of it" or "she is so young", yet I knew something just wasn't right and discussed it with my pediatrician. I quickly navigated through the system of Early Intervention and a renowned research program. She was determined to be "high risk" based on characteristics displayed, but I firmly believe the interventions implemented have made a huge impact.

Education/Credentials

Bachelor's Degree-Business Administration Many hours of one-on-one parent training classes covering light ABA and play therapy approaches.
