As a mother of 3, my last child (daughter) displayed every possible "early detection" red flag. Many may have thought "she will just grow out of it" or "she is so young", yet I knew something just wasn't right and discussed it with my pediatrician. I quickly navigated through the system of Early Intervention and a renowned research program. She was determined to be "high risk" based on characteristics displayed, but I firmly believe the interventions implemented have made a huge impact.
