General questions about Hardware selection, PC self-building. POST issues and boot problems, are all fine. I am also confident answering questions regarding Linux based systems. Apple Mac is my current weakness, but I'm happy to help where I can.

15 years Building, Repairing and upgrading PC's and workstations. 5 years Supporting international customers whilst integrating a fixed wireless access systems into their networks. This includes directly training Engineers of various nationalities about our (VectaStar) equipment.

What do you like about this subject?

I have been Very interested in Computer Hardware since the Age of 15 (16 years). I find I am motivated greatly by things that interest me. Computers interest me. I like to help less knowledgeable people as I hate to see people being lied to by scam artists. I'll never try to sell you anything, only suggest a suitable solution, perhaps a supplier.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Ultimately, I would like to gain a Masters Degree in Computer Science. In the mean time, I have been studying HTML and Web based Protocols as well as recent technology advancements.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

It moves extremely fast but will reach a Physical limit, within the next decade. This is when tracks become just 1 micron wide. I look forward to seeing where technology moves from that point. Cooler to be Faster I expect!

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Some believe the internet and computers are a Bad thing. I believe there are some Bad people on the internet. There have always been Bad people. The Internet just makes them easier to track.
