You can add a second video card to your system, check the motherboard manufacture about adding a second card and a second monitor. Sometimes you have to disable the onboard video when you add another video

First what software are you using for writing to the DVD, this will determine the drivers that are installed for the drive. I suggest you check the Sony web site for what writing software program is
