I learn every day. I have a hard time with gradient mesh control - but that's more of an art.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:
Illustrator is one of the all-around most versatile layout tools that Adobe has ever made. I have been using it since its birth while I was in Art School (want to see my floppies?) and even now, I find myself saying "Wow, I didn't know it could do that!?!?" from time to time. It's my favorite!
