two more points you have to concern: 1. make sure the inserted music is set to play across slides, or else the presentation will wait until the audio playback is over. 2. for every slide, set to advance

first step: check if there are audio files embeded in powerpoint (an audio file with file size bigger than 5MB can not be embedded in PowerPoint). Open the pptx file and choose Office icon -> Save As
