Linda, sorry I have not seen this problem before. There is some information on the Microsoft site that might be helpful. It may be that your file has become linked insted of embedded or vice versa.

Robert, I am assuming you men you need to include your son's voice within the PowerPoint presentation. If this is the case you need to record your son's voice. Most new computers come microphone enabled
