Don, PowerPoint does go full screen using the F5 function key among other pathways. However I feel like perhaps the PowerPoint window is not centered. I would try dragging the window and maximizing it

Hello - You did not mention which version of PowerPoint you are using but all are similar but not exactly the same. You can edit the Master Pages by clicking of the View TAB and selecting Master View
