Alessandro, If you use Firefox then suggest installing the firebug addon. Then you can go to the page, right click on the page and then select 'inspect element'. This will show you the HTML on the left
David, Putting description and keyword meta tags on your site is a good start. It's also important to code the title tag. I'm unfamiliar with kompozer and so can't help with the how of doing that, I
You'll put the PHP source code on your computer, install filezilla and then connect to your server account. From there you just locate the source file on your computer and drag and drop it onto the server
