Ideally, Rick, you shouldn't be as all these devices are plug and play. Howveer, some of the devices may need additional configurations. This you can make out from the manual or after speaking to the tech-support
hi Veena, All Unix OS and its variants support networking but certainly you need a WAN device.. either a router or a modem. Commands are kind of same in Windows and Unix/RHCE etc...so don't worry about
Mat, Since you know the machine and the port number, next thing you should do is to block this machine. After that you should remove the machine from network remove the cause before getting it back on
ANgelo... You are trying to upload the picture. Idesally you should save before uploading. Please check that. The other issue you might to get cleared is if your modem is not blocking any port.
ANgelo... WHat kind of camera is it? Are you able to ping its IP address from your computer? let me know, please, -sudhanshu
