Expertise

I have been a member of the AllExperts team since October 2008. As a graphic layout artist I can address Word layout issues which may arise. I work with graphic challenges, and I work with both the Mac and PC platforms. I own my own contract training business. I train for both government and private entities.

Experience in the area

I have taught Microsoft Word since 1991

Education/Credentials

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS), IC3 Instructor, Certifort SME (IC3), A Plus Computer Repair Technician, State of California Credentialed Teacher, Certified Graphic Layout Artist

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Copying and pasting a graphic once results in typical Paste Special options. Copying and pasting the same graphic again results in further paste options, such as jpg and gif. This can be used to create holiday cards to be pasted into an email message. Create your card, copy/paste special all items as a Microsoft graphic object; copy and paste special again for graphic paste options.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Default fonts for Headings have changed between versions, creating tangles in Tables of Contents.
