AppleWorks 6, Systems up to 10.3.5, general trouble-shooting of hardware and some software.
In years past I taught computer K-8 and helped maintain Macs using sytems 7 and 8. Since 2001, I have not been working with computers daily, aside from doing my own work. I dabble in helping people out and enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out answers to your problems. Systems 7, 8, 9 and 10 are all in my repertoire now, at various levels of expertise. Please, NO networking questions.

Alex, Did you back up your stuff? Will the system disk let you boot up your computer from the disk and not your hard drive? That would be key. You might have the wrong disk - back in 'the day', disks
Hi Alex, I need to know what system you were using and what you were upgrading to. I need to know what model mac you have. I will do my best to help you. Debba
Hi Gary, First of all, let me congratulate you on your decision to move to Mac. I don't think you will regret it! OK - this may be a bit of a challenge for me because I have chosen not to install
Javier, can you give me more information? What type of file is it - Photoshop, Word, Excel, etc? And how big is the file as in MB or GB? I may be able to help you but I need to have a bit more information
