What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I would like to continue to enjoy New Hampshire by learn more about it's history.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Of the thirteen original colonies, New Hampshire was the first to declare its independence from England, a full six months before the Declaration of Independence was signed.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  "Live free or die." - The Motto of the State of New Hampshire. The phrase comes from a toast written by General John Stark on July 31, 1809. Poor health forced Stark to decline an invitation to an anniversary reunion of the Battle of Bennington and to send his toast by letter: ''Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils''.
What do you like about this subject?  The richness and depth New Hampshire history
