IIRC, she was fired after she told a department psychologist she had slept with a former suspect. I think she had grounds, considering A) there was at least a presumption of dr./patient confidentiality

Sadly, I've missed much of the past season of CI due to a combination of VCR problems and work schedule issues, so I don't think I saw the episode with his sister. As for Goldblum, sadly I've not seen
There are, but there are issues of availability. Also, as I said, the NYC acting community is a pretty tight knit group. If you read tabloids that like to cover star feuds almost never do you hear of one
Law & Order is filmed in New York. The New York pool of actors is smaller but also close knit than the L.A. pool. Any show that films on the East Coast will sahre actors with shows that film on the East
