Expertise

Regarding TOS, I can answer every question except Stardates. (And I can look those up too!) Plot lines, characters, actors, most numbers, and even planets. As long as the answer can be found ON SCREEN, I will be able to do that. Answers found in books DO NOT COUNT.

Experience in the area

30+ years superfan of Classic Trek, episodes very thoroughly analyzed, 8+ years running trivia contests, 15+ years membership in fan clubs, 15 years attending numerous conventions

What do you like about this subject?

I have been a fan for 30 years and I always felt that TOS is still relevant and is very watchable when MANY other-generation Trek episodes are not.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I want to some day publish my own Trek Trivia quiz book, CD ROM, or board game

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

I host not only a trivia contest, but an actual GAME SHOW, at conventions. TTSLI, the funniest show you will see at a Trek con. (Points for amusing, feeding, and sucking up to the host!) Invite me and watch the fun! (I also act, have done Trek jokes, songs, etc.)

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Trek Classic: Who Needs Another Generation? (I am a follower, a casual fan, but not an expert, of other series)

Oh, now I get it, Suzanne. In brief, the kids were on a planet where the adults were all killed (either by Gorgon directly or indirectly), or actually killed themselves with poison, and then when the Enterprise

2009-11-19 Which episode please?:

Thank goodness, an easy one! Suzanne, the episode is Season 3's And The Children Shall Lead, regarded as one of the worst Treks of all time. I don't know what you mean by "background" though. Please specify

Yikes, talk about a vague question with no notice. Are you aware I only received this at 1AM EDT? OK, Bre. It SOUNDS like Balok. He was the puppet, or the Hyde to the Jekyll of the real Balok, the mini-me

2009-06-08 Star Trek Short Interview:

Rather than do an essay, perhaps we could talk as in an actual interview. And ABT, just saying "Americans" as opposed to "North Americans" or "mankind" is by definition exclusionary. I have free long
