Expertise:  I have superior knowledge of Star Trek: The Original Series. I pride myself on the more obscure Original Series trivia, such as planet names, guest character traits, and miniscule technical things. I am also extremely well-versed in quotes, episodes, guest stars, and characters' histories. Anything I am not 100% sure about, I have the ability to locate and answer through many outside resources. I am relatively knowledgeable of the other Star Trek series', with the exception of Star Trek: Enterprise. However, my ability to answer questions from other series with the ease and fluidity as I do The Original Series is limited.

Experience in the area
In addition to corresponding with many notable Star Trek triviaphiles, I was an active participant and member (and for many years, the youngest) of the America Online Star Trek trivia community. My participation has been extremely limited there since roughly 2003, simply due to real world constraints. To lend credence to those who may have been participants, I competed under the handle "SPOCKMATT3".
