I've played video games since I was 3 years old and have major gameplay time invested in nearly every console since. I also write about games every month; talking about gaming news, reviewing games, and other special essays and the like.

What do you like about this subject?
As I've already mentioned I've been playing games since I was 3. I love seeing how they're designed, watching the stories unfold, and feeling like I'm apart of them. It's an enjoyable escape from everyday life, and it's interesting to see the creative visions of others.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?
I hope to be a video game critic/reviewer.

I'm guessing it's used in which case it's barely worth it for the extra controller. a 320GB PS3 with 1 controller (and usually a game) is $299 plus tax in Canada (unsure if you're in the states or not)

I would only go with Xbox if you're planning on playing online with your friends who also have Xbox. Otherwise it's a hard sell as the only benefits would be the Halo, Gears of War, amd Splinter Cell Conviction
