Traveled to different areas of Bolivia (LaPaz, Santa Cruz, Sucre, Potosi. Have traveled from Peru to Bolivia via Catamaran on Lake Titicachi and by bus to Bolivia. I have been to the ruins of Tiahuanaco.

Hi! I have not been to Sal de Uyuni and it would be a ways from LaPaz. If you took a bus, it would take a lot of time. If you flew to Sucre and then get a tour there, that would be the say to do it

Hi! Besides all the things within LaPaz, if you plan to go to Lake Titicaca (highest navitable lake in the world) there are some ruines on your way there. I enjoy Sucre (south Bolivia) and Potosi.
Hi! I have gone by bus from Puno to LaPaz but with a private bus but I definitely know you can do it on public transportation. I don't remember but sure the bus stopped at some point to stamp passports
