I have taught Physics to 9 to 12 graders for more than twenty five years at a renowned public school in north India. My areas of interest are classical mechanics, fluid dynamics, static and current electricity, geometrical and wave optics, sound and modern physics.I would welcome questions in these areas from students of levels one through four.

Experience in the area

I completed my postgraduation in Physics in 1974 and obtained a Bachelors degree in teaching in 1975.I started my career as teacher in July, 1975 at Methodist High School - a renowned more than hundred years old senior secondary English medium school in north India affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations,New Delhi.I taught Physics to the students of grades 9,10,11 and 12 till 2004.More than hundred of my students studied in Indian Institutes of Technologies and most of them are settled in the U.S.Several hundreds of them have done B.Tech. courses from various Engineering Colleges spread across India.

Publications

1. A text book for students of grade 9 - " A complete Course in ICSE Physics " - published by S.Chand & Company,New Delhi in 1989. 2. A text book for studdents of grade 10 -"Ä Complete Course in ICSE Physics " - published by S.Chand & Company, New Delhi in 1989.

Education/Credentials

I have a Masters degree in Physics and a B.Ed. degree.

Awards and Honors

Hi Aditya, Here is how you may proceed : At STP one mole of any gas occupies 22.4 L space. P = 101300 Pa V = 22.4 L T = 0 C = 273 K V' = ? T' = 20 C = 273 + 20 = 293 K P' = 250 KPa = 250000

Hi Ana, Here is the solution : Average speed = { 65*(t/2) + 100*(t/2) }/t = {65+100}/2 Km/hr Return journey : Time of travel of first half distance = (X/2)/65 = X/130 hr Time

Hi Goria, Applyin law of conservation of linear momentum : 60 * 0 + 4 * 0 = 60 * V + 4 * 10 V = - 40/60 = - 2/3 m/s 50 * 0 + 4 * 10 = ( 50 + 4 ) * V' V' = 40/54 = 20/27 m/s Speed of separation
