Expertise

I can answer questions about Heaven and Hell, becoming a true believer (born again) and how to know if you are truly saved. As a Christian, it is my duty to help spread the Gospel. I can take a look at Bible verses if you like. It is in my best interest to eliminate any and all confusion about the Bible, so please do not hesitate to ask me whatever you like.

Experience in the area

Born-again Christian; have studied the Bible for approximately five years.

What do you like about this subject?

What's not to like? We're talking about the God of the universe! Jesus Christ, King of you and me! King over life and death! King of the Jews! Get on your knees, friend, and give genuine worship to your eternal God, the Lord Jesus Christ!

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I implore all who read these words to heed the message Jesus gives in John 3:3. Judgement Day is coming. All those whom God has not saved will stand for judgement. Man cannot save himself. Salvation comes through the Bible (Romans 10:17).

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Adam and Eve were not symbolic characters. They actually existed, as human beings, just like you and me. In fact, in the beginning, they weren't flawed like us. They were created as perfect beings by our Almighty God. Unfortunately, Eve took the apple, and sin came into the world. That's why the world is fallen (ridden with sin), and why we all need Jesus as Savior.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

It is unfortunate that people today believe they can do something to contribute to their salvation. This is utterly false. Only God can save. Therefore, reading the Bible daily, praying habitually, donating money to the poor, and 'trying' to live a good life will not get you into Heaven. We're all sinners. Only God can save, and if you are one of the elect, consider yourself blessed.

Hello, Shunda. Actually, the Bible teaches clearly that we cannot do anything to get ourselves saved. God is 100% in charge of salvation, and He saves those whom He desires to save (Romans 9:15-16)

2009-10-24 Born-again/witnessing:

Hello, Benjamin. When a person truly has become saved, they will experience a new love for God, a new love for the Bible, and new desire to keep God's commandments. I John 2:3: And hereby we do know

2009-10-23 christian friends:

Hello, Jason. The Beatitudes in Matthew 5 are given by God to show us what the nature of a truly saved person is. An unsaved person will not have those characteristics. For example, in Matthew 5:3:

2009-10-06 cults:

Hello, Ann. The word 'cult' is sort of an ambiguous term. Some people consider any false religion to be a cult; others, only certain ones. The Seventh Day Adventist religion is a false religion,

2009-09-20 adultery:

Hello, Lauri. According to the Bible, there is not to be divorce for any reason (Matthew 19:6; I Corinthians 7:39). I cannot speak about other religions, but Christianity (the only true religion)
