Expertise

I will answer questions from a Biblical perspective about physical suffering. There are many people who are suffering with chronic illness/pain that are struggling to understand what God's purpose is in all of it. It is my goal as a fellow-sufferer to bring comfort and spiritual help to these people from a Biblical perspective

Experience in the area

I suffer from a number of chronic conditions and have learned over the last 7 years (and still struggle to put it into practice)that I can embrace the changes that have come as a result instead of merely cope with it. I would like to help others come to that point in their lives as well.

What do you like about this subject?

I like the comfort that I get from searching God's Word and learning what His purposes are in my suffering. God's Word is so rich and full, it will take a life time for me to dig out all the pearls contained in it. It speaks to my needs time and time again and I love sharing what I learn with others.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I hope to achieve a closer walk with God. I pray that He would help me to grow in the fruits of the Spirit and that my life would reflect Christ.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

96% of illness is invisible Nearly 1 in 2 people in the U.S. have a chronic illness National Invisible Illness Week is the second week of Sept.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

It is not a lack of faith that keeps one from being healed. There are those who would say I do not have enough faith and therefore God has not healed me. This is not true. The Apostle Paul prayed for God to heal him, yet God chose not to. Instead God said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."

I honestly do not know how common this practice is.  I know it is not done in the Christian circles I am a part of.    I would suppose those who do this are just trying to find comfort in any way they

I'm not sure that the verse in revelation necessarily relates to the scriptures cited above.  The verse in revelation is referring to saints who had been through great trials and as a result were purified

Sounds like you are going through a tough time.  A letter of closure may or may not be a good idea.  It depends on what your purpose for it is.  Is your purpose to get the last say?  Is your purpose to
