I can answer any question as it relates to the purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned vehicle. I can give you advice in purchasing from a franchised dealer or private party. I have been in the automotive business for 10 years. I have held every position from salesperson, Finance Manager, New Sales Manager, Used Car Sales Manager, Finance Director, and Director of Sales and Finance. I graduated from the University of Texas with a major in Business Administration, and have held many sales jobs in the automotive sector. I am a member of the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals (AFIP). I have also been trained by some of the best schools in the business including JM&A, Ethos, VT/AIG, Inc, and various others.
The automotive business is so exciting. It may not always be for the customer, but it can be! Every experience is different. Every Customer is different. It is always something new, and keeps you on your best.
I hope to learn from the questions of the customers. One thing that is always lost in this business is the customers perspective. This will help me in my normal everyday business to listen to the experience of all customers.
Dealers deserve to make a fair profit! Customers deserve to get a fair deal! The best car deal is in the perception of the customer and the dealer.
Most customers mistakenly think that the dealer makes so much money on deals today. That is a complete false statement. Dealers struggle to make profits today on each and every car deal. The profit margins given to the dealer by the manufacturer have gotten smaller and smaller each and every deal.
