Claudia, the difference between what you owe (18,000) and what the car is worth (12,500) is called negative equity and will be tacked on top of the new loan. So $5500 will be rolled into the new loan.
Scott something doesn't sound right. A bank can never just tack on $5000 for no reason at all. You don't have to transfer loans from one state to the next. Like I said something is not right and I haven't
Hello Brian, The only reason you should put a deposit if it is a hard to get vehicle and they have to order it or buy it from anothet dealership. You are talking a deposit not a down payment I am assuming
Hi John, I'm not big on paying cash for a new car (used yes). Rates are really good right now. Get the invoice of the vehicle you are interested in, see if any rebates are being offered, find a salesperson
Priscilla, A Carfax is the best report out there. Maybe the dealer hadn't pulled this, which is odd, as most dealers will get this report before they purchase the vehicle. There was probably an insurance
