towing is such a wonderfull job, full of adventure and challenges. Helping people is rewarding when there vehicles are in distress.
I hope to help people with questions about the towing industry. I know there are many areas which people do not understand about towing including problems with illegal parking of vehicles and the towing away of such vehicles. I try to help as much as possible, but changes happen quickly and I can not keep up on all the laws and changes.
Did you know there is an "International Towing and Recovery Museum" in Chattanooga Tennessee. You should go check it out if you get out that way
Why is it that towers are always angels when we rescue a standed motorist, and we are ( insert favorite saying ) when that same person can park in a no parking area and get towed away by the same company. And why is it that motorists fail to move over when emergency vehicles are working on the roadside, did you know that its the law in many states to " MOVE OVER or SLOW DOWN"

there are some states where it is illegal to do that, but since you did not tell me where this would be happening I can not provide you the answer... BUT I want to point out one thing about using a

There is no maximum amount that they can charge as the fees will include towing of the vehicle, storage (think ground rental) which increases daily, various administrative fees for lien processing so
if the vehicle is rear wheel drive, then your best bet is to load the vehicle backwards onto the dolly. Just make sure that you secure the steering wheel so that your front wheels do not move around.
From what I am reading about Ohio and the PUCO office now, it looks like there will be a total remake of all the laws to close a few of the loop holes which people exploit. Best advise I have right
