I've been to Italy many times, and have traveled to Egypt, India, Nepal, Israel, Turkey, Fiji, Malaysia, and other places in Europe and the Caribbean.
I like to help people discover the joys of independent travel.
Websites like frommers.com has very useful info on getting to your destinations and around the country, and they recommend hotels, pensione, restaurants and more. Their advice is usually pretty sound. Also, check out rock bottom budget guide book Lonely Planet or Let's Go. Another favorite website is TripAdvisor.com to learn more about hotels, etc.
