Expertise

I am a dual US-Italian citizen and own a house in a small Italian village, Valle San Giovanni, which is a suburb of city of Teramo in the Abruzzo region. I have constructed an English-language website for this town (http://vallesangiovanni.com). Am willing to provide information related to subjects of visiting the city and the province of Teramo.

Experience in the area

I speak passable Italian, have lived in both Italy and the United States.

What do you like about this subject?

My roots in the province are deep as my nonni (grandparents) are from this area. I travel there often.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Help others to know and experience this wonderful area.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

I have built several English-langaue websites dealing with small villages near Teramo. The main one is: http://vallesangiovanni.com

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Hitler was rescued by the German Otto Skorzeny in 1943 at the nearby Campo Imperatore on the Gran Sasso mountain.
