The rich Tradition of the Orthodox Church offers nearly infinite opportunities for spiritual growth. Within the Tradition, I am especially captivated by the form and theology of icons.
Theosis (Deification) To become God-like. To become human. For to be truly human is to be God-like.
This is an impossibly broad question. I find Orthodoxy INFINITELY interesting! And I am dismayed by how little the non-Orthodox know about us.
The Orthodox Church is not founded on the Bible. This is only logical, since the Orthodox Church produced and compiled the selective canon of Scripture we now call the "Bible."
