Expertise

My areas of expertise are painting (especially oil and acrylic), drawing (especially pencil, color pencil). I have a deep knowledge of the properties of paint (pigment opacities, transparencies, color strength, lightfastness) and their use through history; as well as contemporary uses. I can be of great assistance with questions of mixing medias (Such as mixing color pencils with oil paint). I will say "I don't know" if I do not know the answer of a question.

Experience in the area

I am a certified art educator in New York State and a practicing visual artist. I have a rapidly growing youtube channel, dedicated to art instruction ( http://youtube.com/kazanjianm ). I love teaching art and I answer all of my comments/questions.
