I am not sure exactly what your asking. Legally there is not a thing that you can do. It may not be a bad idea if you wamt to talk to a lawyer but I am not aware of anything they can do about the situation

If you sign papers for the adoption then your no longer the legal parent. Your mom might be able to name you legal guardian in case of her death or an illness but that is for a lawyer to figure out. Ask
